This rooftop coffee shop and bar at the Supertree Observatory in Gardens by the Bay is one of the most memorable spots I have visited in Singapore. The location is unbeatable, right above the Supertrees, and it gives you a full aerial view of the city skyline, Marina Bay Sands, and the lush gardens below. It is the kind of place where you can sip a coffee or cocktail and take in the scenery without feeling rushed. The vibe is calm yet vibrant, and it feels like you are in the heart of the city while floating above it. The drinks are well made and the setting makes them taste even better. If you are visiting Singapore, this is a must-do experience. Perfect for a morning coffee with a view or winding down with a drink at sunset. The combination of location, views, and atmosphere makes it unforgettable.

Stopped at the Supertree Observatory and was surprised to find Janice Wong Chocolatier at the observation deck. It’s a lovely spot to grab a small bite, drink and the prettiest chocolates you’ve ever seen. I liked the coffee and also the praline poprock.

A delightful cafe at the top of the Super Tree Janice Wong Observatory! The drinks, pastries and artisans chocolates are exquisitely made and the staff that served us were so friendly and helpful. This is a great spot to recharge and cool down before heading down from the Observatory.

Stopped by on a hot day in Singapore and got an Iced Mocha and an Iced Matcha—both were super refreshing! The service was amazing, especially from Daniella, who welcomed with a big smile and was so warm and friendly and very hospitable which makes one feel at home. She also recommended a special dessert called Blossom Bliss, which is only available at the Supertree Observatory. It’s inspired by pulut hitam and has black glutinous rice pudding, gula melaka, chocolate mousse, and a purple sweet potato sponge. Such a unique and delicious desert that I even finished it within minutes because it was too good Great drinks, awesome service!

There’s something sacred about floating above a garden full of giant trees while you sip champagne and taste art. That’s exactly what I found when I climbed up to Janice Wong’s “Pure Imagination” dessert café, nestled in the Supertree Observatory at Gardens by the Bay. They’ve transformed one of the Supertrees into a glasshouse of sweetness — a boutique sky-high dessert bar where every cake, chocolate, and cocktail feels intentional and inspired. The Setting & Vibe • The views are unforgettable. You’re surrounded by branches and city light, suspended between nature and skyline. • The café is intimate, with just enough seats so each moment feels special. • Stepping inside felt like entering a dream made in sugar and air. What I Tasted & Loved • Artisanal cakes and chocolates inspired by Singapore — flavors, textures, colors that echo this city’s soul. • Every item is plated like a painting. • Champagne + dessert felt sacred — that moment when your glass and your plate are equally poetic. Why It Matters Janice Wong isn’t just a pastry chef — she’s an edible artist. She’s won awards, redefined desserts in Asia, and pushes boundaries with chocolate and confectionary. Her work is what happens when creativity meets craft. What she’s doing with bean-to-bar chocolate and edible art is visionary. ⸻ Pro Tip: Book your Supertree Observatory + Janice Wong dessert access early. This spot is small, magical, and memorable — arrive just before sunset if you can. PS order the Moet Make sure to check out my other Singapore moments — from Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay, each part of this trip tells half a story.
